Battery Detail - Edit Data
Follow the steps below to access the battery module:

Log in to Unity Warehouse IoT

From the Navigation Panel at the top, click Assets and select the Battery module
Battery - Main Screen - Edit a Battery
There are several ways to edit a battery's properties and settings.
Method 1
- Click the caret icon on the far right of the desired battery record and select Edit
Method 2
- Click the battery's name to open its profile
- Click Edit in the bottom right of the screen to make the fields editable
Identifying Information
The first section displays the battery's general identifying details.
- The following fields can be updated: Battery Stencil (required, used to identify the battery across screens and reports), BMID Number (the programmed ID on the battery-mounted monitoring device, if applicable), and Battery In Service (a checkbox indicating whether the battery is currently in service).
Battery Status
- This section displays the Battery Status data, including the following fields:
- Status – Indicates whether the battery is in service
- BSOC – Battery State of Charge indicates the level of charge the battery had at last communication
- Installed on – Indicates the last known vehicle the battery was installed on
General Profile
- This section displays the battery's profile data including the following:
- Serial Number
- Purchase Date
- Date in Service
Model
- This section displays the battery's model data, including the following:
- Battery Type (e.g. liquid, gel)
- Voltage Rating (nominal voltage)
- Number of Cells
- Charge Cycle
