Vehicles - Edit Vehicle - Vehicle Information
The vehicle detail screen displays general identifying information.
Follow the steps below to Edit a Vehicle:

Log in to Unity Warehouse IoT

From the Navigation Panel at the top, click the Assets module, and then select Vehicles

Click the vehicle name to open its detail screen
- Click the Edit button
The edit vehicle detail screen displays general identifying information.
- Update the required fields, Vehicle Name (used to identify the vehicle across screens and reports), Make, Model, Year, and Vehicle Type (selected from a dropdown).
Vehicles - Edit Vehicle - Vehicle Status
- The Vehicle Status section displays the following read-only fields:

Detected - the last date/time the VAC communicated with the software

Location - indicating where the asset was positioned when last detected

Driver - indicating who the driver was when the vehicle was last detected

Compliance - Indicating if the vehicle was compliant (yes) with the required safety inspection rules or not (no) when the vehicle was last detected

Access Mode - displays the last known access control method for the vehicle Any ID, Registered ID, ID Optional, or hard bypass

Fully Synchronized - indicating status of vehicle synchronization

Next PM Due - indicating when next planned maintenance is due for the vehicle)

Diagnostic Errors - indicating the number of active errors when the vehicle was last detected

Connected Via - indicating how the vehicle last connected to the VMS (WAM or Wi-Fi)

IP Address - indicating the IP address of the VAC on the vehicle (this is not applicable for non-Wi-Fi systems
- The only editable field is Status, which allows you to set a vehicle as in service or out of service via dropdown. A locked status is set by the VAC and can only be changed at the device.
Vehicles - Edit Vehicle - General Profile
The General Profile section displays and manages key vehicle information.
- The General Profile section displays the following editable fields:

IDSY Vehicle ID – this ID must match what is entered on the VAC during the install wizard. If changed, it will not update the VAC remotely but will create a new vehicle.

External ID 1 – this is an optional field to track vehicle information (serial #, license plate, etc.)

External ID 2 – this is a second optional field to track vehicle information (serial #, license plate, etc.)

Vehicle Class – This is a dropdown box from which you can choose the appropriate option.

Weight Class

Purchased Date
-
Capacity – Max weight entered in lbs

Parking Location

Vehicles - Edit Vehicle - Behavior Profile
The Behavior Profile section of the vehicle detail screen contains one editable field. Click Edit at the bottom of the screen to update it.
- Select the appropriate option from the Behavior Profile dropdown, then click Save when finished.
Vehicles - Edit Vehicle - Group Assignments
The Group Assignments section displays the vehicle's current group memberships, including each group's name, description, External ID, assignment expiration date, number of vehicles in the group, and number of operators with vehicle access.
- To edit a Group Assignment, click the Edit button
An Edit Group Assignment window will open.

A list of existing groups is displayed on the left; click on a Group Name to select it for editing

Optionally edit the Expiration Date

Click the Update button
Vehicles - Edit Vehicle - Trouble Shooting
The Trouble Shooting section of the Vehicle Detail Screen contains the following areas:

Latest Tran Codes - Lists the latest transaction codes required for the VAC needs to be considered up to date.Click here for an explanation of TRAN Code segments

VAC Tran Codes with Synchronization Date – Displays the last known tran code on the VAC and the date it was last synced. If the VAC is up to date, these codes will match those listed in the ‘Latest Tran Codes section.

Cumulative Vehicle Meters (hours) – Displays the accumulated usage for each measured metric on the vehicle.

Active Diagnostic Errors – Lists any diagnostic errors that were active on the vehicle when it was last detected. Refer to the VAC User Guide for details on errors.

Reset Tran Code - Clears the VAC Tran Codes section and forces the VAC to re-sync all segments.

Reset Asset Cumulative Meters - Resets all lifetime meters to zero. Meters will begin accumulating again once the VAC sync’s its next data.
