People - Import
Click Import to import a group of users from a .CSV file. Supported user types include software users, equipment operators, and email recipients.
Follow the steps below to import the people list:

Log in to Unity Warehouse IoT

From the Navigation Panel at the top, click the People module

Click the Import button
- Click Sample Operator Import File to download a template showing the required format and fields for your import file
- Choose a location on your computer to save the Sample Operator file
- Browse to the file location and open it

Enter your user information into the template and save it as a .CSV file.

Click the Choose File button
- Browse to your file, select it, and click Open
The selected file name will appear next to the Choose File button

Under Data Content Rules, choose how to handle existing users — either update them with the imported information or create a new unique user with a modified name

Click Next to proceed to the field mapping screen
Match each field to the corresponding column in your import file, ensuring all required fields (marked with an asterisk) are mapped correctly. If you used the provided template, no adjustments should be necessary.
- Click Next to proceed. Your file will be evaluated and a summary of the results will be displayed on the next screen
Any errors found in your file will be displayed in the summary.
- Hover over the Details link next to each error to view a description of the issue
To correct errors, update your data file and click Previous twice to return to the file upload screen. Once your data passes evaluation.
- click Import and then OK in the confirmation window to proceed
- A summary of the upload will be displayed. Click Done to return to the Import screen
Use the breadcrumb link at the top of the screen to return to the main People screen.
