Zone Profile - Detail Screen - Overview

The zone profile detail screen is located within the Visibility > Zone Profile page.

Follow the steps below to access the zone profile detail screen:

  1. Log in to Unity Warehouse IoT

  2. From the Navigation Panel at the top, click the Visibility module, and then select Zone Profile

  3. Click the zone profile name to open its detail screen

On the left side of the device profile screen you will see a zone profile list and search bar that allows you to move to another profile record without going back to the device List.

  1. Type in the search bar to locate a zone profile (at least 3 characters must be entered for the search to activate)

  2. Or click a name to open the profile

Zone Profiles - Detail Screen - Options: Add, Duplicate, Edit

The zone profile detail screen includes action buttons in the bottom right: Go Back, Add, Duplicate, Edit, and Delete.

  1. Click Go Back to return to the main zone profile screen

  2. Click Delete to remove the current vehicle record

  3. Click Add to create a new zone profile record

  4. Click Duplicate to create a new zone profile record based on the current one

  5. Click Edit to modify the current zone profile record

Zone Profiles - Detail Screen - Expand/Collapse Sections

  1. Click the arrows on the right side of any section header bar to expand or collapse that section

Changes made within a collapsed section will still be saved when the profile is saved.

Zone Profiles - Detail Screen - Zone Profile Information

This section displays the zone profile's identifying details.

  1. Click Edit to update the profile's name (required) or description

  1. Update the Name (required) and Description fields

Zone Profiles - Detail Screen - Assigned Zones

This section displays the zones added to the profile

Adding a Zone

  1. Click + Add on the right side of the section header bar to add a zone to the profile

A window will open displaying available zones.

  1. Select one or more zones using the checkboxes, scrolling or using the search bar to find them

  2. Click the Add button

Note: Zones are created in the Maps tool.

Removing a Zone

There are two methods for removing a zone from a profile. The first method allows you to remove multiple zones at once.

  1. Select the “-Remove” link on the right side of the green section heading bar.

A window will open displaying assigned zones.

  1. Select one or more zones to remove using the checkboxes, scrolling or using the search bar to find them

  2. Click the Remove button

See below for the second method for removing a zone from a profile.

  1. Under the Actions column toward the right of the screen, click on the carat icon on the row of the zone you wish to remove, click the Delete option

A confirmation window will appear

  1. Click OK to confirm the removal

  1. Click Save when finished
